Mark Mückenheim, Juliane Demel and Maren Weitz are conducting a Workshop at the German pavilion at the 12th Architecture Biennale in Venice.
The Workshop “sehnsucht nach identität” / “desire for identity” is organized by the chair for design methodology and representation at the Technical University Munich, Prof. Mark Mückenheim. Twenty students of the TU Munich will participate. It will take place on Tuesday October 26th at the Red Salon, German pavilion, Giardini, Venice Biennale Fondamenta Dell’Arsenale 30122 Venezia, Italia. The Workshop will start at 10 a.m. it will continue throughout the day and finalize in an exhibition and performance.
The concept for this years German pavilion includes, that invited partners in collaboration with the curators will realize one or multi-day Workshops in the German pavilion in Venice whereas different groups (pupils, students, artists, laymen and architects) will examinate the topic area “longing” and present incipient stages on the spot. The German pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2010 is curated by Cordula Rau, Eberhard Tröger, und Ole W. Fischer / Die Walverwandtschaften.
